VISUALIZATION PROJECTS:
STOPMOTION A PART OF THIS PUZZLE UID PORTAITS ADVENTURES OF ROCKY

DEGREE PROJECT IN ANIMATION

This project was the culmination of a year studying advanced visualization techniques and storytelling. The design proposal was recreating the nintendo world, and make use of a character that would perform as an obssesed geek.

The tension builds through the stalking, consequently behavior turns to nervousness and the virtual world turns to replace the reality of the player.

I have focused mostly on technical procedures in this project. I wanted to learn working with greenscreen footage, and controlling vehicles with a heavy processing calculation file. Most of all, it was the perspective of editing that was the most appealing to me at this stage, as well as creating a consistent environment between the virtual and the non virtual.

This was a very learning experience and I am keen to apply this skill onto prototyping scenarios, telling stories, and creating interactive experiences.
