Background
With the interest to reach a younger audience across the BBC, Director General Tony Hall announced that the increasing video output from Radio 1 would be integrated into iPlayer.
The workstream was initiated soon after this anouncement and needed to happen in two months time.
Role
In this project I led the Visual design of Radio 1 on iPlayer across desktop, mobile, tablet platforms.
I was briefed by Creative Director and Senior Designer and had regular checkpoints to review the design.
Sitting closely next to the development team I ensured the visual assets were up to standard and to for the responsive requirements.
